Schweiz Extrem Jura guidebook for the Jura Mountains

Schweiz Extrem Jura guidebook for the Jura Mountains

The Schweiz Extrem Jura guidebook describes a selection of the best rock climbing routes in the Jura Mountains. These routes are generally well bolted and graded between F6a and F8a on perfect Jura limestone. The guidebook covers an area from Basel in northern Switzerland to Lake Geneva in the west. In total 51 separate crags are covered mainly between Basel and Bern, with the majority of these being single pitch routes. Multi-pitch routes are also included that are generally well bolted, but where Trad gear is required for these the guidebook indicates what is required.

All the routes are shown on clear topos with French grades (each pitch if appropriate). At the start of each crag there is a description of the style of climbing to be found plus the number of routes at each grade. Detailed access information and location maps are also included, plus GPS co-ordinates are included for the parking areas.

Published in April 2017 this guidebook is written in German, French and English text throughout.

Number of pages is 358.
Size is 120mm x 185mm.
ISBN is 9783906087504.
