Moonarie – A Rock Climber’s Guidebook

Moonarie – A Rock Climber’s Guidebook

This is a comprehensive guidebook covering the rock climbing at Moonarie and it also covers some selected areas in the Flinders Ranges. Moonarie is located 450km north of Adelaide in the state of South Australia.

Moonarie is one of Australia's most spectacular crags and is a great adventure climbing destination due to its isolation. However superb rock and loads of fantastic quality routes make it easily South Australia's premier crag. There is a great variety of trad climbing with a good range of intermediate to hard routes and a few sport routes. The rock naturally accepts trad gear though some routes do have the odd bolt.

This guidebook details all the routes at Moonarie plus the best routes at Pt Bonney, Devil's Peak and Warren Gorge in the Flinders Ranges. All the routes are shown on excellent colour photo topos along with a description.

Published in March 2019 this guidebook is in English text throughout, and contains many stunning action photographs
